All good things.

As it always does, time flew. We savored our last day with our friends by getting in some good baby-time, snacking on german treats and toasting their trip with some [seriously delicious] Rosé. [See previous posts for all we did in our week of Wilson fun!]

The weather was beautiful so we got to put our new patio furniture to good use.

And sipped on the most delicious [and pretty!] rosé by Skyline Wines. [Rosé is really having a moment, isn't it??] We may have sent the husbands back to the store for more, this one is just that tasty. And, I found out that the grapes are actually grown & harvested in the Rheinhessen region, not far [just a short 40ish mins away] from our town, Königstein. SO, I think a vineyard trip is in my not-so-distant future :)

Remember those German treats I mentioned above...yeah, these. I've made it my mission to sample ALL the pretzels so I can share with you the BEST pretzel recommendation in Germany [rough life, I know]. So far this one is in the lead and it's from a bakery right in the center of our town!

international travel, german pretzels,

When the babies woke up from their slumbers we spent the afternoon soaking up their cuteness. These two really are the happiest little men.

Walter is an army-crawl professional, but Asher isn't super interested in that mode of transit, just yet. He's been practicing his standing skills, pulling up and starting a little booty scoot. So its our guess that he'll be a walker before he really masters crawling.

So that's that. They came, they saw, they conquered Königstein. And we already wish they would come back. Thank you guys x 1 million for being the kick off to [what we hope will become] a long lists of visitors!

Next up, K & I put our international travel skills to work and give you our baby airplane tips/tricks/survival mechanisms. And I'll give you a peek into my travel-diaper bag must-haves as I prep for our upcoming trip back to the States!

ever yours,
