An Easter of 1sts.
With all that Asher has gotten to do and see in his (almost) 3 years, it's crazy that he and his (almost) 3 month old brother got to share a first this Easter.
This was Griffin's first ever Easter, but it was also Asher's first American Easter! We didn't travel back to the states for the 2 previous Easter holidays, so it was pretty fun to be able to get dressed up, have a place to be, family to see, and eggs to hunt. Last year, Jason and I got crafty and sliced up decorative eggs, filled them with treats, and taped them back together before hiding them throughout our apartment. The little plastic eggs that are abundantly everywhere here in the States are literally nowhere to be found in Europe...so needless to say, we had SO much fun with the egg hunts this year.
It's the little things.
It's also the pastels. Now, I am not afraid of dressing my boys in color. Asher's favorite color is pink and I think humans should have and love and wear whatever makes them happy. BUT .. I will say, that this holiday is the perfect excuse for a boymom to dip into the world of pretty and dress her little men in the loveliest shades of spring. I had so much fun. But didn't even get a pic of just the two of them together. Griffin was a wee bit overwhelmed by the busy weekend and slept thru most of the festivities. Luckily we got a few family pics to document our first big holiday as a family of four!
What a beautiful day. Hope you had a wonderful celebration as well!
ever yours,
lindsey
